Philippines Olympic gymnast Carlos Yulo is set to receive a sizeable award for becoming the country’s first male Olympic champion. Yulo, who won a gold medal for both the floor and individual vault events, knew before the Paris Games that a gold medal would win him a new house. However, according to a thread on X, Yulo is set to be awarded much more than just a new house, including a $415,000 two-bedroom condo. The 24-year-old will also receive $173,000 from the Philippines Sporting Commission and a further $52,000 from the country’s House of Representatives. Yulo will also be given a lifetime of free colonoscopies and gastroenterology consultations once he turns 45 and $1,730 worth of furniture. The two-time world champion has been awarded a lifetime supply of ramen, free buffets and meals, as well as free cookies from Cookies By The Bucket for the rest of his life. Lastly, Yulo can take note of all these prizes on his brand new iPhone 16 that he will receive for becoming the country’s second-ever Olympic gold medal winner.
