Art Dreams Foundation has leveraged its extensive and diverse experience of nearly 15 years in the field of art and culture, both locally and internationally. Its latest project, JILTAF – "Lyon International Days of Arab and Francophone Theatre," is a unique pilot event held in Lyon, running from September 18th to 27th. The Palestinian artist Rouhi Ayadi, the project's founder, initiator, and coordinator, has garnered the trust of the Lyon municipality, the French Institute, local French and Arab cultural institutions, and a group of French artists and writers interested in fostering cultural relations between the Arab world and France. Through this project, Ayadi seeks to develop a plan for the coming years to hold joint training workshops and artistic and cultural events within the framework of partnership and cultural cooperation agreements. This is the primary objective of the Art Dreams Foundation, which aims to strengthen cooperation between the Arab and Francophone worlds by facilitating exchange meetings that bring together artists and writers from both France and the Arab world, and by offering new workshops for Arab and Francophone playwrights from the partner regions of Lyon and its suburbs. This year's program, titled "At Dawn of Two Nights 2019," targets young playwrights (Arab-Francophone), particularly writers from the Maghreb, as well as writers from the Middle East and the Gulf. The program focuses on two main points: First: Encouraging and training playwrights in Arab countries. Second: The difficulty faced by authors writing in Arabic/French in their own countries in gaining recognition. This meeting represents a platform for developing young people's abilities through the production of a miniature literary and artistic work during the course, which will be presented to the public in the form of dramatic readings. The project also aims to create opportunities for developing and following up on future artistic projects with specialists and funding bodies in France and Arab countries.
